Project Manager - Residential Developer - East London - £70,000 / £100,000 + a full benefits package
Our client are large London based residential developer that
complete 8 large RC frame residential led mixed use developments a year, and
have done for the past 25 years, prior to operating as a home counties
traditional build developer. They are known for specialising in urban
regeneration on brownfield sites, with properties being sold to the market at
an attainable price whilst maintaining a high quality product.
They are looking for an experienced Project Manager to run a large RC frame mixed use residential led project that consists of the demolition of the current structure, followed by the construction of 8 RC framer blocks ranging from 3 up to 12 storeys, which includes an undercroft car park with 30 spaces, 9 commercial units, and 150 residential apartments in Poplar, East London with the apartments overlooking Canary Wharf.
· The project consists of 1-4 bedroom apartments
· 34.2% are affordable housing
· Remaining 65.8% being private housing
· 3 year construction process
· 0.43 hectare site footprint
· The project is yet to start, so the successful candidate would have the opportunity to see the project from inception to completion
The ideal candidate would be a Project Manager with a track record of completing volume residential schemes in London, with a history of seeing projects from initial stages through to delivery, able to manage programme, commercial and technical aspects of the build, along with the construction process. The right Project Manager will need to be a proven leader that can motivate staff to complete their work to a high standard, whilst maintaining health and safety.
